too many flavor to choose, I really wanna try all of them!apple and rhubarb , ends with a sour and fruity flavor, my favoriteif u r a banana lover, must try the banoffeecannot wait for the next visit

Cafe Pastel - Portuguese Tart
If you love Portuguese custard tarts, you must put this cafe on your list. They are the flakiest most scrumptious tarts I've tried ever! I had the vanilla one and apple and rhubarb. Both were exquisite. Next time I'm in Northbridge I'll be trying some of their other flavours.

THE best Portugese tarts in town, if not anywhere! Delicious flavours and great service by all the staff. Also, the one star review below is absolutely wrong. These people obviously work hard to create something so great. Someone that doesn't know anything about Portuguese tarts shouldn't be doing reviews. One star for her knowledge!

Lovely little place..Always fresh and flavourful custard tarts.If a patisserie sells JUST one product 7 different ways… you gotta know it’s good. Perfect vanilla, subtle rich flavours, just-right crust.Need a sweet treat to take to morning tea? How about a pick-me-up for a dear friend?A special occasion thank you?A perfect end to a really memorable date?For us, box of 4 worked as a wonderful reward at the end of a difficult job well done. Highly recommend. And staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Cafe Pastel - Portuguese Tart
Beautifully baked Portuguese tarts. Right of the oven! The pastry was so light and flaky but the inside is so rich in flavour and slightly viscous. My favourite is the vanilla and the pandan flavoured ones. Highly recommended with black coffee for a Sunday afternoon

Taste not nice. It doesn’t have any egg flavour but only cheap sugar. If they don’t put eggs to the ingredients then why call them portuguese tarts? Maybe should change the name to cheap sugar tarts or something.

Cafe Pastel - Portuguese Tart
Tried the pandan tart for $5 each, super crispy and flaky and the filling tasted delicious! It wasnt too sweet nor oily either and I Would recommend, soo good!
